The Meriden YMCA is a non-profit organization that strives to better the surrounding community. The large facility offers gym equipment, for both strength and cardio workouts, a full-size pool and fitness classes. Children's programs and camps are available throughout the year. Student, senior, and family membership discounts are available.
Located on the first floor of the Hamilton Building on Broad Street, E-Z Lern Driving School is a full-time insured licensed driving school serving Meriden, Wallingford, Southington and surrounding areas. Founded in 1947 but incorporated in 1961, E-Z Learn offers a variety of classes to teens and adults. Services offered include a 30-Hour Driving Class, an 8-Hour Safety Practice Course, an 8-Hour Drug, Alcohol and Safety Practice Course, behind-the-wheel instructions with home pick-up available, instructions and review of Connecticut laws and off-site drivers' license testing. Evening classes are offered during select times. Adult private lessons and gift certificates are also available.
Jack Barry Little League is a youth baseball league based in Meriden. The league has been a chartered Little League organization for more than 50 years and participates in many tournaments.
