Pruitt's Driving School offers the state approved drivers license road test as well as the Forsyth County School's Driver's Education program. The owner, Tony Pruitt, has a 13 year background in safety and safe driving techniques. Pruitt's has been a member of the National Safety Council since 1999. DUI classes are available on evenings and weekends.
The YMCA Forsyth is in a new building to the back of Vickery Village, off of Post Road. It offers fitness equipment, personal training and classes for adults and children. You can work out with its free weights, strength machines, spin cycles, treadmills, treadwalkers, ellipticals or stair climbers. Classes are scheduled throughout the day and include yoga, spinning, step, Corepole and Zumba. The schedule changes every 6 to 8 weeks. Depending on the time of year, children can do gymnastics, soccer, swim lessons, or basketball. Child care is available in the mornings and late afternoons in a clean and friendly daycare to kids 6 weeks and up. After school care is also available for kids at Vickery Creek. There is a pool with lap lanes, a hot tub and sauna. Family dressing rooms are available.
ATL Allstars is located on Redi Road in Cumming and is a training facility for cheerleading and tumbling, for students ages 5-18. They offer fall classes and summer camp for tumbling. Their coaches are USASF certified.
Airsoft Depot is located adjacent to Slapshots Family Skate Center. It sells airsoft rifles, pistols, ammo and accessories. It also has private outdoor fields that provide tactical war games for corporate events and birthday parties. Participants may rent or purchase equipment from Airsoft Depot.
Icon All Stars opened its doors in Forsyth county in 2004 as a cheerleading complex. Its focus is on developing children of all ages in the skill of cheerleading. Icon's gym is a 10,000-square-foot facility equipped with a tumble track and spring floor with full-length mirrors. It has an all-star program for competitive cheerleading.
James Creek Tennis Center is a members-only facility offering free access to James Creek community homeowners. For non-residents, the center offers private and family memberships at an annual cost plus an initiation fee. The beautifully maintained tennis center features multi-level tennis courts, including 12 lighted courts, six hard-surface courts, two clay courts and four indoor courts. Five pros are available who provide a year-round juniors program, a summer junior camp and adult leagues and drills.

This Tennis facility is inside the Castlebrooke subdivision, off of Castleberry Road and Piney Grove. The schedule varies by season, but every year tennis lessons are offered for kids and adults. It has Tennis for Tots for 3 to 4 year olds, Rising Stars for 5 to 7 year olds and lessons for kids up to age 18. Typically classes are one hour, once a week. It also has adult lessons, a Senior Stroke Clinic, private, semi-private lessons and league play. This facility is 4 miles from the main YMCA near Majors and Post Roads. Discounts are given to members. Watch out for the speed bumps when you drive down Piney Grove.
