Established in 1858, Macys Inc. formerly known as Federated Department Stores Inc. is a chain of departmental stores. The firm offers a range of product lines, such as beauty, bed/bath, shoes, jewelry, watches, fragrances, hand bags and other related accessories. It holds a network of brands, consisting of Alfani, American Rag, Charter Club, Club Room, Epic Threads and First Impressions, to name a few. Macys Inc. operates nearly 850 departmental stores in 45 states, including the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico and also operates four Bloomingdales outlet stores.
