In addition to Stamford, this office also administers forms to those living in Greenwich, Norwalk, Wilton, Ridgefield, New Canaan, Darien and New Fairfield.

Residents can contact this office for various social services, including assistance with disabilities, domestic violence, child welfare and care for the elderly. The Department of Social Services can also provide assistance for needy families, people living with HIV and AIDS and those in need of employment and/or basic health care.
