CDS International, founded in 1968, is a nonprofit organization offering programs and services for the advancement of international practical training opportunities for young professionals, students, educators, as well as labor, business and government representatives. It serves more than 2,000 individuals annually from over 70 countries worldwide in a variety of work and study, internship, fellowship and study tour programs. It offers programs in business, marketing, accounting, science, engineering, technology, hotel management and tourism, agriculture, journalism, public policy and administration, information technology, law, education, and vocational training professions. The organization s programs also serve public and private industries, colleges and universities, state and local governments, and research organizations worldwide. CDS International works with a variety of international organizations that include international development agencies, corporate foundations, government sponsored institutes, as well as private and public corporations.
