Family Centered Services of Alaska is a nonprofit organization founded in 1989. The center provides a wide variety of programs and services for individuals with mental disabilities. It offers various clinical services that include mental health, substance abuse and risk assessments, and outpatient mental health and family counseling. Founded in 1967, Fairbanks Native Association is a nonprofit organization serving as a powerful and influential Native American voice in the state of Alaska. Over the years, the organization has changed public policies that were discriminatory to native people and its programs have helped countless people find new jobs, maintain sobriety, celebrate their culture, and receive an education. Fairbanks Native Associations Ralph Perdue Center and the Women and Childrens Center for Inner Healing conduct adult and youth behavioral health services programs. Some of its educational programs include Head Start, Early Head Start and Parent As Teachers. Additionally, Fairbanks Native Association also runs a Fairbanks Alcohol Safety Action Program (FASAP) and offers other community services.
