The Sgi-Usa World Culture Center is an auditorium that hosts various events. The venue is owned by Soka Gakkai International - USA, a Buddhist organization headquartered across the street. Buddhist events and services take place here, as well as concerts and other cultural gatherings. Many nonprofit organizations have used the facility, including the Santa Monica Symphony, and entry is always free. Parking is conveniently located underneath the building or across the street at the SGI Plaza.

Beth Shir Shalom (which translates as "House of the Song of Peace") is a progressive Reform synagogue with an emphasis on music and art. The congregation enjoys multiple music programs, and every service is filled with music and song to help lift spirits, and enjoy each other's company.

In addition to serving as a center of Jewish worship and education, Beth Shir Shalom provides a respected preschool program, offering non-denominational education to little ones 18 months to 5 years. Temple membership is not required for registration. Each teacher in the preschool is certified and experienced.

Since 1981, the Santa Monica Synagogue has dedicated itself to creating a flourishing congregation of families, 250 and counting, who are dedicated to Reform Judaism. This nurturing community is motivated by tikun olam (repairing the world) and local efforts are geared toward this goal. This synagogue is also a member of the Union of Reform Judaism. It contains a religious school for all ages ranging from kindergarten to adult classes and offers many special education programs. Rabbi Jeffrey Marx has been the spiritual leader and teacher at this institution since 1985. Welcoming and supportive, this synagogue has day and evening programming that appeals to all members, young and old.

The Kehillat Ma'arav Synagogue offers weekly Shabbat services each Saturday at 9:30am and montly Shabbat services on the first Friday of each month at 6:30pm. Educational opportunities for adults are offered, including Introduction to Judaism, Insights to the Bible and Adult B'nai Mitzvah. Religious school is open to youths in kindergarte through 7th grade, and a BiYachad program is open to those in grades eight through 10.
