This conservative practicing synagogue, which moved to the Lakelands in 2006, offers interested community members of the Jewish faith a place to worship, educate their children and develop a sense of community.
In addition to traditional services, held at 6pm and 7:45pm on Fridays and 9:30am on Saturdays, Shaare Torah has Sunday school, study groups, discussion groups, holiday celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs and many other traditional Jewish events.
Founded in 1946 by the late Pastor Robert Miller, Montgomery Faith Fellowship in Gaithersburg provides the community with a range of worship services, programs and ministries which include Nursing Home Ministry, AMF Youth Ministry, Prison Ministry, Healing Ministry and My Time Children's Ministry. Montgomery Faith Fellowship is non-denominational and believes that Christianity is a way of life and not just a religion. The message of the church, simply put, is "faith working through love."
