Temple Beth-el of Bellmore, a Conservative synagogue on Bellmore Road, offers Shabbat and holiday programs as well as programs for families and adults. It has a very active Sisterhood and Men's Club and offers several events throughout the year, including an annual Jewish film series, concerts, adult education classes, Hebrew school and bingo every Monday evening. Rabbi Avraham Rabinowich and Cantor Elliott Yavneh lead the family-friendly Conservative Jewish Congregation of the Bellmore Jewish Center. The congregation was formally organized in January 1959, and the building was constructed in 1962. Bellmore Jewish Center offers congregants several groups and a Hebrew school.
