Community Resources serves the needs of adults with disabilities and elders in the South Puget Sound region through a variety of flexible programs and contracts. Located in Olympia, Wash., the variety of services enriching and supporting the community includes Supported Living, C.A.R.E.S. and self-advocate support. In addition to this, it provides consulting services and training in movement difference and facilitated communication. Supported Living gives disabled people the accommodations to live and build lives on their own terms. The organizations C.A.R.E.S. program offers home care for seniors, people with disabilities and people recovering from surgery. Community Resources also contracts with state agencies, governor appointed boards and commissions, and individuals.
