Since 1889, the G.S. Haly Company has been importing and distributing premium specialty teas from Africa and the Far East. Family owned and run for over 120 years, it has one of the largest selections of in stock wholesale premium teas in the US. Its teas include proprietary blends, flavored, scented, organic, kosher and fair trade varieties.
The heavenly aroma of roasting coffee surrounds this North Fair Oaks shop and roaster for a block in any direction. The company has supplied coffee to both retail and wholesale customers for 25 years, and because Connoisseur is a direct supplier, its retail prices run several dollars per pound less than the well-known chains. More than 30 coffee blends of varying strengths and roasts are available by the pound, including fair-trade, decaf and low-caf blends. Loose teas, snacks and coffee-making equipment are sold, as well as drinks to consume on-site in the highly atmospheric roasting room. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
