Soka Gakkai International (SGI-USA) is the local chapter of the Buddhist Association for Peace, Culture and Education. The center offers a place for those interested in or currently practicing Buddhism to study; it also serves as a resource for educational publications, DVDs, audio recordings and classes. SGI-USA conducts monthly neighborhood discussion meetings wherein members and their guests meet to talk about a topic of interest and relevance to the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin.
