Temples Buddhist in Alameda, California

Orgyen Dorje Den is a center for the study of Tibetan Buddhism in the Nyingma tradition. Dorje Den was established in the Bay Area in 1978, and the Alameda site, just down the block from Alameda City Hall and the old Carnegie Library, was purchased in 2001. ODD hosts regular meditation and practice groups as well as other community activities. 

The Buddhist Temple of Alameda offers dharma classes and services on Sundays at 9:15am and 10:00am and a dharma karate class Tuesdays at 5:45pm. There's also a relaxing Zen garden in front of the temple. This temple has many gatherings and events for the community.
