The USA Head Temple for Shinnyo-En USA is located in a beautiful residential section in Redwood City. Shinnyo-en is an independent Buddhist order based on the Nirvana. They offer Buddhist Chanting Services usually scheduled on the weekend. On their tranquil grounds is also a nice walking loop that many locals take advantage of while enjoying the serenity that the setting offers.
Established in 1986, the Insight Meditation Center is dedicated to the study and practice of Buddhist meditation, specifically Vipassana or Insight meditation.
