The Payne Park Tennis Center in downtown Sarasota has 12 courts. Private and group lessons are available for all ages.
Longwood Athletic Club is a premier tennis facility with 18 courts that are lighted at night and made of a variety of surfaces (12 har-tru, two red clay, and four hard courts). Adult and children's programs are available with qualified tennis instructors. In addition to private lessons, adults may participate in Morning Play and Morning Clinics and Playing Under The Lights or join one of the many competitive leagues. Longwood Athletic Club also boasts a serious 2,500-square-foot fitness center with free weights and workout and cardio machines. Families enjoy the pool, play area and picnic lawn. This busy and active athletic club is nestled in a quiet residential community off University Parkway.
