Contemporary Arts Center is a multidisciplinary arts center offering presentation, production and promotion of art. The center organizes exhibitions, performances and programs, and encourages collaboration among diverse artists, institutions, communities and supporters. Since 1976, the Contemporary Arts Center has been home to artists experiments in painting, theater, photography, performance art, dance, music, video, education, and sculpture. The center s award-winning building provides more than 10,000-square-feet of gallery space offering exhibitions throughout the year. In addition, the center and local performers stage various plays, dance events, music concerts and performances in its two theaters. NOBA’s dynamic Main Stage season annually features a diverse array of world-class companies and artists.
