American Music Theatre is an entertainment facility that hosts a variety of musical concerts and entertainment shows. The facility also hosts celebrity concerts and its list of celebrity performers includes Bruce Hornsby, Joe Cocker, LeAnn Rimes, Bill Cosby and Brian Regan. American Music Theatre provides special discounts and packages for corporate, school and church groups. The facility houses a meeting room that features a 56-foot stage and can accommodate up to 1,600 people. Its clients list includes Fulton Bank, Manheim and Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic. American Music Theatre additionally offers its facilities for hosting fundraising events. It is a member of the Pennsylvania Dutch Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Mask and Wig Club, founded in 1889, is the oldest all-male collegiate musical comedy troupe in the United States. Each year, Mask and Wig produces two all-original shows. A comedic production, Mask and Wig shows appeal to a broad range of audiences. In October, Mask and Wig performs on Penn’s campus for a weekend in October. In the spring, Mask and Wig members create a full-length musical. Each year’s Annual Production opens in the last week of January and runs until early April. For over a century, Mask and Wig shows have been amazing audiences in Philadelphia and around the country. Performances feature live entertainment with 9-piece student band, a breathtaking tap dance at the end of the first act, and musical numbers that will be sure to dazzle and delight. Each show begins with a cocktail hour, and ends with a floorshow where Club members perform tried and true bits. The Mask and Wig Club House is also available for rentals. Ideally situated between New York City and Philadelphia, the Bucks County Playhouse is an institution among performers and theatre aficionados alike. Stars like James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury, Robert Redford, Grace Kelly, Liza Minelli and Audra McDonald have performed at this converted mill along the Delaware River. The Bucks County Playhouse is home to a regular season of shows like "Company" and "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," and also holds special events throughout the year.

Parking and Public Transportation at Bucks County Playhouse

The Playhouse has its own parking for $3/hour or $20 for the day (valet parking is also available for a surcharge). Additional parking for patrons is also available in nearby lots.

If you're using public transportation to visit the Bucks County Playhouse, it's fairly easily accessible from both New York City and Philadelphia. From New York, you can take a Trans-Bridge bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan.

Bucks County Playhouse is only accessible from Philadelphia by train. Take the SEPTA regional rail line to Doylestown, then transfer to a Trans-Bridge bus headed to Lambertville.

Players and The Plays The Village Players are a registered 501c3 non--profit organization. Our members are made up of volunteers from the surrounding communities. We are a diverse group with varied ages, occupations and skills. All actors, members and staff are volunteers. We have been producing plays for over 6 decades. We produce 4 regular season productions, with 8 performances each production. We have 6 evening and two matinee performances per production.. Our season runs October through June. In addition, we offer benefits to groups and organizations. For more benefit information, click here. We also have some form of a summer production ( one-acts, childrens theater, dramatic readings ) that runs one or two weekends. A list of our past productions can be found here. Our plays are usually a comedy, drama, mystery, or a farce. During our intermission we have beverages ( coffee, water, iced tea, lemonade ) and a snack item. The concessions are donation only. We also hold a 50/50 raffle during intermission.

Founded in 1929, The Stagecrafters is a local theater that puts on productions of plays and performances.
