Island Style Watersports offers an impressive stock of water gear, stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and wind surfing equipment. At Island Style you can learn to kiteboard, windsurf and stand up paddle. You can also go out with your family on a relaxing kayak eco-tour through the Exotic Mangrove Tunnels of South Lido. Owners and staff are comprised of local and world traveled professionals who take your experience -- and your fun -- seriously. This shop is locally owned and has been operated since 1993. Staff have been teaching windsurfing professionally since 1987, and kiteboarding and kiteboard coaching since 1999. Sales and rentals of watersports equipment are available.

The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens provide a place to relax and appreciate flora from around the world, as well as learn about plants, ecosystems and the environment at large. Its learning center provides educational material for school groups, children and gardening enthusiasts, and its research center provides space for the staff botanists to explore and better understand the natural world. There is a cafe, along with a koi pond and orchid house, as well as a tea house where visitors may sample various medicinal and unusual teas. Weddings and other private events may be scheduled as well.
