The Shepherd of the Hills is an outdoor theater located in Branson, Mo. It is also a tourist attraction center that is named after the famous novel Shepherd of the Hills. The theater presents many famous shows, including Sons of the Pioneers, which is designated as National Treasures by the Smithsonian Institute. The theater also organizes a variety of activities for the visitors, such as Homestead tours, horseback trail rides, crafter activities and shopping. The Shepherd of the Hills is home to several Ozarks crafters. Its facility includes leather, knife, and the Native American crafts and jewelry shops. It also has an online store that offers a variety of products, including books, teapots, toys, clothing, collectibles and inspirational items. The theater offers horse rides that allow visitors to view the historic Homestead area in Missouri.
