It offers visitors the chance to speak with a representative about local and state-wide activities, events and information. Guests can learn about the history of Oceanside, as well as the surrounding areas, and get brochures and special deals for local venues and outings. There is a gift shop that sells t-shirts, sweatshirts, collectibles and more. The interior is large and open, with friendly employees that are vastly knowledgeable about the city and state. Credit cards are accepted for all purchases, though local information is offered free of charge. Parking is complimentary in the attached lot.
San Diego Beach Cruisers is located along South Coast Highway near the southern end of Oceanside. It offers bikes for purchase or rent. The store sells cruisers and low rider bikes for men, women and children, with a variety of sizes and colors to choose from. The interior is well-sized and open, with a number of bikes on display that can be taken for a test ride upon request. The employees are kind and outgoing, with a vast knowledge of bikes and safety equipment, which is also sold on site. Credit cards are accepted and metered parking is available in front of the store.
AAA members enjoy a variety of services ranging from auto insurance to roadside assistance if you have a breakdown or run out of gas. This local AAA office also has a convenient DMV office and a full-service travel agency where you can pick up maps and guidebooks or plan a getaway. The employees are fast and friendly and speak English and Spanish.
