Larsen Intermodal Services, located in New Orleans, provides domestic intermodal, ocean container and moving trailer pickup and delivery services in the Greater New Orleans area and throughout the Southern United States. Its customers range from small to large, and include forwarders, 3rd party providers, ocean shipping lines, manufacturers, customhouse brokers, railroads, importers and exporters. Its New Orleans facility offers cross-docking, stripping and other services, and serves all railroads, the ports of New Orleans, Gulfport, Miss., and Mobile, Ala. Its Jackson, Miss., terminal serves all rail ramps in their area and ocean container traffic to and from Nissan and other facilities. Larsen was founded in 1992 and has steadily grown into one of the largest intermodal carriers in the Gulf south.
