After spending years during the 50s & 60s transporting lumber into Mansfield, OH from the South, Harold Chumbley Sr. decided to put his knowledge of the lumber industry to work, realizing his dream to own and operate a lumberyard. That was the beginning of Richland Lumber in 1961.His entire family became involved in the business, including his wife Jewell, and their seven children. Years of hard work turned his dream into a successful business based on honesty, integrity, and quality products. Today, the business is operated by his son, Harold Chumbley, Jr., and currently employs the third generation of the Chumbley Family. They still belive in the same principles that Harold Sr. started the company with -Honesty, Integrity, & Quality.
