The Carlsbad Library Learning Center is a two-story building with bilingual books and staff. It opened its doors in 2008 and since then has supported life-long learning and literacy in the community. Inside you'll find colorful walls, a computer lab, a story time area and a homework center where students get one-on-one help from volunteers.
Italiano With Jodina offers Italian language and culture classes to a variety of levels of adult learners from beginner to Intermediate and beyond. Class sizes are small and the teaching approach is dynamic. The focus is on learning practical language skills and building fluency in a fun and supportive environment. Also available here are Italian cooking classes and immersion trips to Italy.
Foundations for Reading & Learning is a private learning center using multi-sensory instruction to build critical processing skills. It specializes in assisting individuals from preschool age to adults build critical processing skills by following an individualized learning plan. After a diagnostic evaluation, trained instructors execute the learning plan with each individual in a nurturing, supportive environment.
"Mi Escuelita" Let's Speak In Spanish! is an educational program designed to instruct children between the ages of 3 and 5 years in the Spanish language. Owned and managed by Paulina Gartland, "Mi Escuelita" offers a range of programs including music, dancing and instrument playing for integrative learning.
