The Recreational Education Center offers a wide range of resources and activities for families in the Peabody area with children, adolescents and young adults with special needs. The center, led by owner and director Tricia Woolard, is open seven days and week and offers after school programs, recreational classes, parent training and support groups, as well as birthday parties. Sylvan Learning Center's faculty and staff provide tutoring services to help students improve their learning abilities and proficiencies in math, writing and reading. Tutoring services are available for students in elementary school through high school.
