The First Congregational Church of Darien is a traditional Congregational Church, with roots dating back to the early 1700s. The church is part of the United Church of Christ and members of the Connecticut Conference of the UCC. The Interim Senior Minister is Dr. Donald Longbottom.

Sunday services are held at 8:30am and 10am. During the summer months, there is a combined service at 9am.

Communion is served the first Sunday of every month during the 8:30am service and on the first Sunday of the even-numbered months at the 10am.

All children participate in the 10 am service during the first 15 minutes after which most children (pre-school – 7th grade) attend Church School classes. Youth (8th – 12th grade) usually stay in the service.  Eighth graders attend confirmation class, which usually meets after the 10 am service.

Coffee and juice are served after each Sunday’s service in the Parish Hall or outside on the front lawn.

There are many opportunities for the congregation to get involved including a Youth Group, missionary programs, and choral groups.
