Red Bank Surplus is located in the heart of downtown Red Bank, just off of Broad street, on Wallace Street. The store was orignally founded in 83 years ago, just outside the Brooklyn Naval Yard. Owner, Vincent J. Faiella, is a third-generation owner. The store specializes in uniforms and supplies for everyone from Army, Navy and Air Force personnel to cruise lines and movie theaters. Gift certificates are available.
The money collected by the Salvation Army's kettles is used to fund many charitable projects throughout the city. Projects include subisidized heat programs, food kitchen operations and toy drives.
