About The Owners Matt Short owner of STACKd Supplements raised in Southern Illinois has been active in the health and fitness industry for several years. Throughout these years he has worked for other corporate supplement companies, this experience made him realize there was a gap in knowledge and passion. By opening up his own store he is given the opportunity to break free from the strict guidelines and provide a greater overall experience for his customers. In 2009 he started competitive bodybuilding. He has since competed in over five shows, with his most recent overall win coming in March 2014 at the NPC Midwest. Melissa Short co-owner of STACKd Supplements was also raised in Southern Illinois. She joined the military after graduating high school where she served six years as a Navy (FMF) Corpsman. She then moved back to Southern Illinois to attend college. It was during this time that her passion for health and fitness was able to evolve. In 2013 she competed in her first figure competition and has since also become a repeat NPC competitor. She graduated from SIUE in May 2014 with her Bachelors of Science - Nursing. Together, Matt and Melissa, are proud to bring a Veteran owned non franchise supplement store to Cape Girardeau, MO.
