Founded in 1967, Public Water Supply District No. 2 offers drinking water, as well as collection and treatment services of wastewater for rural and suburban customers throughout St. Charles County, Mo. Public Water Supply District No. 2 s projects include Providence Estates Water and Wastewater Systems, Highway D Pump Station Replacement and Highway 40/61 Water Tower. Its service area includes the communities of Lake St. Louis, Defiance, New Melle, Augusta, Dardenne Prairie, Dutzow and Warren Counties in Missouri. The district also offers an auto-draft program that helps paying monthly bill for water and sewer services directly from bank accounts. The O'Fallon Police Department is located at the east entrance of the O'Fallon Municipal Centre in the same building as City Hall. The department is comprised of 103 officers who serve the community through several divisions of law enforcement including detective, traffic and Cyber crime units, patrol, animal control and a K-9 unit. The department also provides a CERT program and assists local businesses through a Business Watch program. O'Fallon officers serve as school resource officers for area schools and participate in several programs for the city's youth, including D.A.R.E and Explorers.
