Mardel opened its first retail location on June 1, 1981 in Oklahoma City. The company maintains more than 20 retail locations throughout six states that include Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. It is a supplier of Christian books and educational products. Mardel stores average approximately 30,000 square feet of retail space and stock more than 40,000 items. These products include Bibles, books, music, gifts, childrens items, office supplies and educational materials. The stores also stock bargain Bibles and bargain books between 50 to 80 percent off the suggested retail price. Children s items also include Bibles, books, videos, music, games and T-shirts. Supplies include stationery, software, church supplies, and arts and crafts. Mardel maintains its corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City.
