Bikram's beginning yoga class is a demanding 26 posture series performed in a heated room. Classes are male and female. It is recommended that first-time customers arrive 15-20 minutes early and abstain from eating two to three hours before class. Women should wear shorts and a sleeveless shirt, men are advised to wear bathing trunks. There is no pressure by anyone at the studio. Participants are encouraged to follow the program to the best of their abilities. This philosophy makes Bikram's Yoga College of India-La Jolla a great program for all skill levels.
