San Diego County Credit Union is a financial institution offering a line of financial services including loans, savings accounts and credit cards to members who live or work in San Diego and Riverside Counties. Located in San Diego, Calif., the credit union operates additional branches in such locations as El Cajon, Vista, Carlsbad, Santee and Solana Beach, Calif. San Diego County Credit Union is a nonprofit institution that is wholly owned and operated by its members. It was founded in 1938 by a handful of local government employees who were frustrated over their inability to obtain loans from traditional banking systems.
