Founded in 1947, Seattle Hebrew Academy is a Jewish day school located in Seattle. It is affiliated with the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, the Association of Modern Orthodox Day Schools and the Washington Federation of Independent Schools. The school provides religious and academic education to students from prekindergarten through grade eight. Its core program of academic subjects includes reading and writing, mathematics, science, history, geography, language arts, Judaic study and physical education. The school has a counseling center that counsels students in their educational development and also offers individual and group counseling services. Seattle Hebrew Academy offers a variety of athletic activities, such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, racket sports and baseball.
