Slackwood Presbyterian Church offers Sunday worship services, Sunday school classes for children, religious education programs, Bible study groups for adults, choir and other programs. The congregation traces its history back to 1812 when a Sunday school was started in the Slackwood Area. In 1935, the congregation joined the Presbyterian church and took the name Slackwood Presbyterian Church. The Church is located along the northbound side of Brunswick Pike (Business Route 1) between Cherry Tree Lane and Whitehead Road.
