South Church has been used by God to make a spiritual impact upon the greater Lansing area throughout many generations of the 20th century. Several churches in our area began as daughter churches of South throughout those years. South is not affiliated or part of a denomination, though we are Baptistic in practice. In terms of age, South has been historically multi-generational a wonderful heritage. Spiritually, whether you are just starting to ask questions about God, or are a committed Christian who is looking for a place to grow, you can find a home at South. The Bible is our sole source of belief, authority and practice. Corporate Worship is the spiritual family gathered to worship and to be spiritually nourished. We are committed to the exposition of the Bible, and to an encouraging use of music in worship. Souths pastors, teachers, and facilities exist to help introduce people at every age level to Christ and to help them become authentic Christ followers.
