Memorial Middle School is a part of the Joplin School District and offers a variety of educational and sports programs more than 750 students in grades six through eight. The school provides programs in business, arts, English, science, computers, fine arts, mathematics, social studies and science. The school s clubs include a student council and guitar and chess clubs. It offers a variety of athletic programs, such as basketball, cheerleading, football, volleyball, wrestling and track. Memorial Middle School also offers various programs in music education that include band, vocal music and orchestra.
