Established in 1952, South Texas Childrens Home, also known as STCH, is a multiservice organization providing basic dependent child care, emergency care, foster care and family counseling services. The organization is governed by a board of directors that is elected by the Baptist General Convention of Texas. It is a debt-free organization and does not accept state or federal government funds for operation. The organization s family ministry provides counseling and referral services to individuals, couples and families. The child care facility is licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Service. South Texas Childrens Home is located in Pettus, Texas.
