Southeastern Career Center provides technical skills integrated with academic knowledge and promotes work ethics, citizenship and self-esteem to prepare the students for careers in business and industry. It also offers postsecondary education and advanced technical training. The vocational school offers variety of programs, such as computer repair, networking, heavy equipment operation, law enforcement, facility maintenance and emergency services. Its two-year programs include auto collision repair and service technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, diesel technology, digital media, electrical trades, health careers and welding technology. Its auto collision repair program provides education on paint and refinishing of cars, vehicle construction and chassis design. It additionally offers instruction fro repairing a variety of lightweight materials, alloyed steels and plastics. The school s emergency services program offers opportunity to enter the police and fire service, and is located in Versailles, Ind.
