For more than 35 years, Specification Rubber Products has produced molded rubber products for the waterworks industry and for producers of ductile iron pipe, valves and hydrants. The company s capabilities include compression, injection and transfer molding; rubber-to-metal bonding; and in-house compound development, mixing and testing. Specification works with a variety of polymers, including styrene butadiene rubber, natural rubber, nitrile, Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer, neoprene and silicone. The company s ISO:9002 certified facility in Alabaster, Ala., features more than 50 presses.
