Located in Norfolk, Va., St. Marys Home for Disabled Children is a pediatric long-term care residential facility for children with disabilities. The center provides a wide range of residential, medical, therapeutic, educational and recreational services for children up to 21 years. It serves children with disabilities throughout Virginia. St. Marys Home for Disabled Children also provides services to children facing birth disorders, traumatic accidents, and illness and child abuse. The center assists them with the use of wheelchairs and usage of speech to communicate their requirements. It also uses feeding tubes to provide food to children who have physical impairments. The center s staff provides all kinds of services by developing a therapeutic environment for children.
