Sunrise Christian Academy, located in Bel Aire, Kan., has been operational for more than 21 years and enrolls more than 800 students. It provides academic and religious educational programs for students in preschool through grade 12. It also offers before and after-school care programs for children of ages 12 months to 5 years. It provides an interactive learning environment through hand-on exhibits and games, and provides basic education in English, music, language arts, math, science and social studies. Additionally, it offers Kingdom Kids program for preschool and kindergarten students that emphasizes on music, physical and computer education. The academy also provides honors courses in western civilization, calculus and Bible studies. It organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art, music, drama and quiz competitions, and offers the National Honor Society program. Sunrise Christian Academy additionally operates the Wichita Christian School that serves students in grades six through 12. It provides various sports activities, such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, cross country and baseball.
