The Pear Avenue Theatre was opened in 2002 by a group of artists who believed in the importance of theater. The theater wanted to give the community of Mountain View a venue in which to see some interesting and fun plays. The theater has a list of plays that it will be doing each year. Each play runs for about a week, with multiple productions. Some plays are long-time favorites, while others are original plays written by members of the guild.
