A small airport located in southern East Haven, Tweed New Haven Airport is modern and caters to short regional and national flights. The airport became Tweed Airport in 1961, named in honor of Jack Tweed. There is one single area for departures and another to receive arrivals. Tweed also offers rental cars as well as paid short-term and long-term parking.
