United Rentals is one of the largest equipment rental companies in the United States, with an integrated network of more than 750 rental locations in 48 states, nearly 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico. The companys approximately 13,200 employees serve construction and industrial customers, utilities, municipalities and homeowners. It offers for rent more than 600 different types of equipment with a total original cost of nearly $4 billion. The company was established in 1997.
