Utleys Iola Auto Body, Inc is proud to be a two generation family owned and operated business. Larry Utley opened the business in 1974. Now, over 35 years later, Larry works with his son, Curtis as a leading Auto Body Repair Shop in Southeast Kansas. Iola Auto Body has 6 technicians who are ASE certified in collision repair, frame straightening, wheel-alignments, and mechanical repairs. Loren Dennis has been in the auto body repair business for over 30 years. Loren is ASE Certified and has been with Iola Auto Body for 14 years. Loren is our main frame repair and wheel alignment specialist! Glenn Peck has been with Iola Auto Body for 13 years. Glenn specializes in light mechanical and general maintenance of vehicles. Travis Knavel has been with Iola Auto Body for 10 years and is a graduate from Wyoming Tech Institute. Travis is ACE Certified and is our master automotive re finisher! Shannon Darnold is also a graduate of Wyoming Technical Institute. He has several years of experience and is our newest full-time employee. Drew Stevenson works part-time while attending Allen Community College. His plans are to transfer to PSU to pursue a plastics engineering degree. Larry Utley has been in the body shop business for over 45 years. He is a Master ACE Certified Technician. Larry works in the office and is one of the estimate writers. Curtis Utley is a graduate from PSU in automotive repair and is also ACE Certified. Curtis has worked for the company for 20 years and is the shop manager.
