Vigo Importing Company is a family owned manufacturer of Italian food products. The company has two different products lines including Vigo and Alessi. The Vigo product line includes artichokes, coconut milk, breadcrumbs, cheeses, pasta, seafood, tortellini, gnocchi, pickled products, olive oil and spices. Alessi products include coffee, desserts, rice, soups, tomatoes, Mediterranean specialties, bread and vinegar. The Alessi label has been awarded a United States patent for its white balsamic vinegar product. Both Alessi and Vigo product lines are available for purchase online. The company was started by Italian immigrant Antonio Alessi in 1947 and is located in Tampa, Fla.
