Western Nevada College is a community college that serves more than 6,000 students each semester and offers over 50 academic degrees and certificates. It offers courses in engineering and construction technology, nursing, musical theatre, golf facilities management, geographic information systems, criminal justice and graphic design. The college also offers specialized training programs in the areas of machine tool, drafting, electronics, computing and other occupational areas. It offers a range of student resources and services that includes academic skills center, computer labs, library and media services, student employment and tutoring center. Western Nevada College is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and of Colleges and Universities and is located in Fallon, Nev.
