Special Services Department, a part of the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District, offers special education services, including academic and psychological assessments, speech and language therapies, behavioral counseling, social work, nursing care and academic support. The Special Services Department provides teaching services through a resource room and classrooms. The department organizes specialized programs and serves more than 950 students. It employs over 80 certified professionals and nearly 25 qualified paraprofessionals. The department s child study team works with parents to review classroom performance. The Special Services Department offers intervention and accommodation services.
