Established in 1956 as Harbor Seafoods, Wrangell Seafoods was a partnership located in Wrangell, Ala. As Harbor Seafoods, the company focused on and expanded into several areas of seafood processing. In 1974, it was purchased by the Alaska Pulp Corporation. The company was sold again in 1984 to J.S. McMillan Fisheries and given a new name, Wrangell Fisheries. Wrangell Seafoods corporate office and processing plant is located in Wrangell, which is located in southeast Alaska.
