Community Options, establishment in 1989, is a nonprofit organization that provides housing and support services, as well as advocacy assistance for people with disabilities. The organization s technology department works with employers to adapt and apply relevant technology to enable people with disabilities to work. Community Options also publishes several newsletters. The organization operates offices in Texas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Connecticut. It accepts donations, including charitable gift annuities, life estate agreements, life insurance, wills and bequests. In addition, the organization offers assistance with special events, parties, holiday celebrations and advocacy rallies. Headquartered in Princeton, N.J., Community Options maintains a location in Brooklyn, N.Y.
