Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham supports and promotes arts as well as cultural organizations and working artists in central Alabama. Located in Birmingham, Ala., the group raises funds to disperse to worthy organizations and individuals. It also oversees the implementation of the Cultural Master Plan of greater Birmingham. Additionally, the organization conducts research on the sector to help inform public policy on the arts. Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham is a member of the Americans for the Arts.
